The most confusing and overpriced four years of your life. I graduated from UCLA with a bachelors in film, tv, and digital media back in March. A film degree doesn’t qualify me for much in this job market, but it does *barely* qualify me to chat about what I wish I knew before college. This video complies my thoughts on internships, hustle culture, making friends, feeling disillusioned, hookup culture, and all the other advice I’d give to my younger freshman self. TIMECODES 0:51 - college is not like the movies 1:29 - making college friends 2:37 - hustle culture 3:49 - your gpa doesn’t matter 4:32 - internships 4:58 - out of state / long distance college 5:48 - how i graduated in 3 years and how you can graduate early too 8:37 - shop around for classes you actually like 10:11 - the professor makes the class 10:44 - get a planner 11:02 - hookup culture 11:57 - drinking 12:31 - making choices + letting go of possibilities 14:16 - romanticize your own life 15:35 - enjoy it while it lasts ON ME top: urban outfitters (http://bit.ly/2N73SiL) shorts: thrifted diy (made them in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFRnQ-Ti6Is) heart necklace: vanessa mooney (similar: http://bit.ly/2YQvdwT) thin choker: mejuri (http://bit.ly/2QvwTV2) F A Q what’s your name? ashley what’s your instagram? @best.dressed how old are you? 21 (born in 1998) how tall are you? 5'5" what’s your ethnicity? half british and half burmese what equipment do you use to film? ➭ main camera: panasonic lumix gh5s (https://amzn.to/2Nb0W1z) ➭ 12-35mm lens (https://amzn.to/2JiSrz7) ➭ mic: rode videomic pro+ (https://amzn.to/2QHfZBU) ➭ vlog camera: canon powershot g7x mark ii (http://amzn.to/2DfL4cZ) ➭ canon m50 (https://amzn.to/2Dp1bnk) ➭ editing: final cut pro FTC: Not sponsored.
