Podcasts You Should Listen To

I'm all ears.

I adore podcasts because of the ease and conveniency. I can listen to them while walking to campus, driving in my car, or tanning outside. They are perfect for busy schedules and a good way to learn new things on the go. I like how the information and entertainment given in podcasts are broken up into bite-sized chunks, making it ideal for those of us with a short attention span *cough cough.*

There are all types of podcasts out there. There are podcasts on love, relationships, sex, stocks (STONKS), science, politics, and there are even some about ADHD.

Here are the ones that I have discovered and enjoyed listening to!

TED Talks Daily

Every weekday, you can learn something new, change your perspective, and ignite your curiosity. Join host and journalist Elise Hu for thought-provoking ideas on every subject you can think of — from mental health to Artificial Intelligence to indigenous knowledge, there are plenty of TED Talks to listen to.

Girls Gotta Eat

This podcast is hilarious and I feel like I am in the same room as podcast hosts Rayna Greenberg and Ashley Hesseltine when I am listening. There are a bunch of honest, open episodes covering relationships, dating, sex etc. Some episode titles include "How to Lose a Girl in One Date," "Body Goals," and "Falling for your Friend."

The Adulting with ADHD Podcast

Finally! Someone so relatable and real. A podcast FOR women with ADHD (but can be super helpful for men too!) BY a woman with ADHD. There are so many important topics covered in episodes such as "Meal Un-Planning for ADHD Brains," "ADHD in the Workplace," and "Mourning with ADHD." Sarah Snyder unpacks issues of self-worth, tips and experiences from her perspectives.

Snacks Daily

When I saw the label Robinhood, I clicked on this podcast immediately. Ever since being quarantined, I started dipping my feet into stocks and started a Robinhood account (you get a free random stock when you sign up!). If you are even remotely interested in financial news, this is the podcast for you. Join hosts Jack Kramer and Nick Martell to get smarter fast with their breakdown of the top 3 business stories in approximately 15 minutes.
